 Get a quart of denatured alcohol. Put a small amount on the end of a clean rag and wipe (door, wall, casing) rag about 3 times over a small area. If there is paint on the rag & area rubbed is tacky to touch, it is latex. If there is no sign of paint on the rag, it is oil. |
