When we purchased our 1950's ranch style home, we realized that it would require a lot of work, but everyone who looked at the place agreed that it had "a lot of potential." In the foyer and the dining room that potential was buried under two very old layers of ugly wallpaper. Lisa Chalker and her workers not only laboriously stripped the wallpaper and repaired years of damage and neglect, but they never flinched when we told them that the dining room was to be painted a vivid and deep red; a rhubarb color. That room required five coats of paint but the result is absolutely beautiful. Now our home's potential is realized with its wide crown moldings and deep windows.
We found Ms Chalker to be a good humored and efficient worker. She was quick, careful and precise with her painting and kept the house cleaned up as she worked. She was reliable and prompt, showed up when scheduled and called when she needed to change plans. Clearly, she has had years of experience.
We are more than satisfied with Ms. Chalker's work and have recommended her to several of our friends. We are confident that any homeowners would be very happy to have chosen Lisa Chalker as the painter for their projects.
