Re: Lisa Chalker – All About Color
Lisa Chalker has been our family painter for years, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
From our first house downtown (which needed a lot of refurbishing and TLC), to our current, more modern house, she has turned our houses into homes.
At our historical home, she removed very old wallpaper, repaired drywall, and gave every
room a fresh new look. The house went from old and dark to classy and bright.
Whenever I am unsure about how particular colors or shades of colors will look in a room,
Lisa has provided expert and flawless advice. Only one time did I insist on painting a room myself to save money; she turned that room (which ended up looking more like the inside of a rotten lemon than a room), into a beautiful, soft space for my son. And more than once was I grateful to her for choosing a hue that I would have not chosen myself because I took her advise (I am drawn to bright colors and she reminds me every time that the perils of very bright colors in small rooms).
Prior to selling our first house, she pressure-washed our deck and stained it a beautiful, rich, chestnut.
Our realtor was convinced that we had completely replaced the entire deck!
More than anything, I appreciate the care and consideration with which Lisa works.
She always cleans before she leaves, windows are never painted shut, and I never find marks on the walls or paint on the ceiling.
I wholeheartedly and without compunction recommend Lisa Chalker (All About Color) for any job for which she is hired.
